Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy covers every app published by Matthew Dutton ("I", "me"), including:

• Car-Connect
• CheckSplitt
• Paste-Board
• Munar Lander
• Iron Gauntlet
• Final Approach: Wheels Down

The short version: I don't sell your data, I don't show ads, and I don't track you across other apps or websites. Your content stays on your device or in your own iCloud account.

Your Content

Anything you create or enter in my apps is stored on your device. If an app supports sync, it uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) under your own Apple Account. That data is stored by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. I can't see or access it.

You can turn off iCloud sync for an app at any time in your device's Settings, and deleting the app removes its on-device data.

Location

Car-Connect uses your device's precise location to remember where you parked. Location is only accessed with your permission, is stored on your device or in your own iCloud account, and is never sent to me or anyone else. You can change or revoke location access at any time in your device's Settings.

Crash Reports & Analytics

To find bugs and understand which features get used, my apps may collect limited diagnostic and usage data, such as:

• Crash logs and performance data
• Device model, OS version, and app version
• Anonymous feature usage events, such as missions played and in-app purchases made
• An approximate, country- or city-level location derived from your IP address

This data is not linked to your identity, is never used for advertising, and is never sold. It is processed on my behalf by Google's Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics, which all of my apps use. If you've opted in to sharing analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may also share crash reports with me.

Game Center

Munar Lander, Iron Gauntlet, and Final Approach support Apple's Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. If you're signed in to Game Center, your scores and your Game Center nickname are shared with Apple and visible to other players on leaderboards. Game Center is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, and you can sign out in your device's Settings.

What I Don't Do

• Require an account or collect your name, email, or contact info
• Sell or share your data with data brokers or advertisers
• Track you across other companies' apps or websites
• Access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA)

Purchases

Any in-app purchases or subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. I never receive your payment information.

Children

My apps are not directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
